Executive Leadership Team

Don Deutsch - President, Partner

Don Deutsch, co-owner and President of Reliability Management Group which was formed in 1986.  Don has been an innovative leader in implementation techniques that drive sustained value and improvement in work practice.  During his tenure he has lead organizations through major work process changes, merger integrations, and detailed work culture implementation changes.  Don’s expertise is based around teaching organizations how to increase reliability of process, system and people at the lowest possible cost.

During Don’s tenure he has lead major projects at utilities, refineries and manufacturing organizations that have driven sustainable value for client organizations.  In Don’s current role he is responsible for the overall operations at RMG with his focus being delivering on expectations, exceeding expected results and overall client satisfaction.  Don has pioneered process improvement techniques that have lead organizations to significant and sustainable results.  Included in his accomplishments is developing RMG’s Reliability Grid Toolkit and authoring “ A Quality Strategy for Maintenance”.

Don is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Madison and a member of many business, leadership and maintenance practice organizations.  Don is an active volunteer in many charitable organizations in his home state of Minnesota.
  

Gregory Fisher - Executive VP, Partner

Greg Fisher, co-owner of Reliability Management Group which was formed in 1986.  Greg has been an innovative leader in implementation techniques that drive sustained value and improvement in work practices.  During his tenure Greg has developed and deployed detailed work management work practices that have resulted in significant productivity improvements, cost reduction and efficiency gains.  Greg has an in-depth knowledge of industry best practice in oil, gas, and utility operations and has lead enterprise wide projects in the United States, Canada and overseas. 

Greg’s expertise is driven by a relentless pursuit of proper implementation to address systems, people and process.  He has in depth knowledge of sustainability techniques that not only drive initial success but are sustainable and repeatable.  Greg has successfully worked as a staff consultant, project manager, lead training and development sessions, and development and utilization of measurements to improve performance.  Greg is the current Executive Vice President of Reliability Management Groups operations practices leading implementation efforts for numerous international companies.

Greg graduated from University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors and Masters Degree.  Greg volunteers in many organizations in his home state of Minnesota and is an active member athletic alumni association at the University of Wisconsin, Stout.

Charles Morgan - Executive VP, Partner

Charles Morgan, co-owner of Reliability Management Group which was formed in 1986, has been an innovative leader in implementation techniques that drive sustained value and improvement in work practice. During his tenure he has lead organizations through major work process changes, merger integrations, and implementation of computer maintenance management systems.

Charles is an expert in working with organizations on how to capture and maintain low cost high value reliability. He has successfully worked as a staff consultant, implemented CMMS systems, lead training and development sessions and development and utilization of measurements to improve performance. 

Charles graduated from St Cloud University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and holds a Masters degree from Saint Catherine College.  He is an active member in the AREGC and SMRP where he has served on the board of directors.  Charles is an active volunteer in many organizations in his home state of Minnesota including Mission Gospel and St Joan Of Arc where he is a religious instructor.

Senior Leadership Team

John E. Hoffman

John, President of Reliability Management Group joined in 2011 from National Grid, where he was a Vice president of Electric Operations, New England. In his current role, John has overall responsibility for sales and operational delivery. His responsibilities include client management, sales, product development and overall customer satisfaction of RMG’s clients. John’s expertise includes leading large scale transformations, leading a diverse workforce, project scheduling, project management, change management, and labor relations.

John’s background includes roles as Vice President T&D, Vice President Transformation, Vice President Strategic Initiatives, and Vice President of Division Operations. In his past roles, John has led engineering groups, change management organizations, six sigma organizations, metrics organizations, fleet, materials management, and a 1200 person Transmission and Distribution organization. John’s expertise includes safety management, labor negotiations, continuous process improvement, End to End Project Management, and Disaster Restorations. John is a certified trainer and coach, six sigma green belt, OSHA certified safety specialist and change management certified. He is a member of the IEEE, Change Management Association and considered a leading expert in the T&D field.

John is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Boston University with a Master's in Business, and Rutgers University School of Leadership. John is an active volunteer in the Boys and Girls club of America, the United Way, and a baseball, softball and swim coach in Massachusetts where he lives outside Boston with his family.

Matt Noble

Matt, Senior Business Development Executive and VP of the Eastern Territory, joined Reliability Management Group in 1999 from Syn-Cronamics Inc, where he was a Vice President of Operations. In his current role, Matt has responsibility for the Eastern United States and the Islands of the southern Coast of the United States. His responsibilities include client management, sales and overall customer satisfaction of RMG’s clients. Matt has expertise in merging corporate cultures, market-based management and large scale transformation projects.

Matt’s varied background allows him to be an expert in the many service offerings at RMG including Process Safety, Manufacturing Improvement Process, Process Improvements, End to End Project Management and Staffing Analysis. Prior to leading in a Business Development role, Matt worked as a Vice President of Operations for 12 years leading corporations on a path to improved efficiency and low cost quality service. In addition, his background at Chase Manhattan Bank provides a basis for solid financial and fiscal planning.

Matt graduated from New Jersey City University with a degree in Finance and Accounting and Rowan University with a degree in Communications. Matt is an active volunteer and the Boys and Girls clubs of America, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and Ramapo Youth Soccer near his home in New Jersey.

Business Development Executives

Fred Anthony

Fred, Regional Vice President for the Western Territory, joined Reliability Management Group in 2002 from Anthony Associates, where he was the owner and President of a world-wide business focused on process, cost, and service quality improvements in the hospitality industry. In his current role, Fred has the overall responsibility for RMG’s Western and Canadian Business Development opportunities. His responsibilities include Client Relationship Management, sales, product development and assuring that our projects meet our clients’ expectations. Fred’s expertise includes developing business models based on ROI, Implementation of Change Management Programs and managing the Client Relationship.

Fred’s background includes roles as Owner and President of Anthony & Associates, Senior Vice President of multiple Hotel Resort locations and Vice President of Operations for Syn-Cronamics. In his past roles, Fred has led programs in the hotel industry that resulted in improved customer satisfaction, quality awards and cost improvement. Fred’s operations experience includes leading change management programs, assessment work and implementing projects to deliver projects on time and under budget.

Fred is a graduate of University of Miami with a degree in Business Administration. Fred is an active volunteer in many organizations leading to the future development of children including F.A.S.T. an organization devoted to children with Autism, in his hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kirby D. Peres

Kirby, Regional Vice President for the Gulf Coast Territory, joined Reliability Management Group in 2010 from Alliance Data Systems, where he was a Director of Business Development and Marketing. In his current role. Kirby is the SouthWest lead for Reliability Management’s Business Development group. Kirby has twenty-five years working in the oil refining, gas and oil exploration industry and petrochemical industry.

Kirby’s background includes working with and advising companies on growth potential and strategic methods to successfully grow a business. In his previous roles, he has worked with organizations to develop process and strategy for growth. Kirby’s utility background includes writings on de-regulated utility markets and the impacts on customers, customer care implementation programs in over sixty organizations, and expertise in AMI/AMR installations

Kirby is a graduate of University of Texas and holds a degree in Administration. Additionally, he has completed Stanford University’s Executive Education Program on Cycle Time Compression. Kirby’s knowledge and expertise in growth, cycle times, and de-regulation has resulted in his work being published in numerous trade magazines. He is an active volunteer in many charitable organizations where lives in Dallas, Texas.

Deb Luck

Deb, Vice President of Business Development Direct Marketing, joined Reliability Management Group in 2009 from MTG, where she was the Director of Marketing. In her current role Deb has overall responsibility for RMG’s direct marketing, market research and data analysis activities. Deb’s expertise includes front-end marketing activities, leadership development and data analysis.

Deb’s background in Direct Marketing and leadership roles over the last fifteen years has developed her expertise in direct marketing functions, data mining and implementation. Deb’s expertise in metrics and KPI development has been focused on practical application of metrics and how they will be used to enhance human performance.

Deb is a graduate of Hawkeye Community College with a degree in Business Management, University of Northern Iowa with a degree in psychology and she continues her studies at Central Lakes College. Deb is an active volunteer in the numerous charitable organizations in her home state of Minnesota including the Association for Rights of Citizens with Development Disability, National Alliance of Mental Illness, and Bridges of Hope.
 

Brett Nicholson

Brett, Regional Vice President of Business, joined Reliability Management Group in 2007 from Loram Maintenance of Way, where he had hiring and generalist responsibilities for the North American Fleet.  In his current role Brett has overall responsibility for RMG’s Great Plains and Midwest Business Development opportunities. His responsibilities include client management, sales, and product development. Brett has extensive expertise in developing business models based on ROI, operations implementation, operations excellence programs, and Change Management Programs as well as improving overall customer satisfaction. 

Brett’s background includes implementation of process improvement programs and sustainment activities at numerous fortune 500 companies. His background in corporate Human Resources has afforded him the opportunity to become an expert at blending process, systems and employees to achieve long term sustainable results.      

Brett is a graduate of University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management with a degree in Business Management.  Brett is an active volunteer in many organizations including the Special Olympics Minnesota and the Make a Wish Foundation.  Brett is an avid sports fan who lives with his family in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.   

 

Operations Vice Presidents

Larry Kastner

Larry, Vice President of Operations, joined Reliability Management Group in 1996 from Munsingwear Inc. where he was the Director or Corporate Quality Control. In his current role Larry is the Mid-West lead for Reliability Management’s Operations Consulting practice. During his tenure he has lead organizations through implementation of CMMS systems, work management practice implementations, KPI development and utilization, and large scale field coaching resulting in significant productivity and improvement gains.

Larry is an expert in advising business leaders on process change initiatives, improvement in quality control, and work management improvement plans. Larry has responsibility for all project staff, successful delivery of Reliability Management’s Implementation Methodology and sustainment of client value derived from service offerings. During his tenure Larry has led the RMG European Business Unit, as Managing Director, leading operations in European Union Nations and European Commission Development Countries. He has worked with numerous companies in the energy, refining, oil, gas and mining industries.

Larry has focused his operations and leadership experience on implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, reliability improvement, and quality control techniques and process. Larry has additional expertise in time, method and measurement analysis and is a member of the American Society of Quality Control.

Larry graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a degree in Business Administration. Larry is an avid Boater, motorcar enthusiast and outdoorsman in his home state of Minnesota

D. Brent Miller

Brent, Vice President of Operations, joined Reliability Management Group in 1994 from Strapdown Associates, where he was Director of Programs and Administration. In his current role, Brent is the Mid-West lead for Reliability Management’s Operations Consulting practice. During his tenure he has led organizations through major work process changes, merger integrations, and implementation of computer maintenance management systems.

Brent is an expert in advising business leaders in the Utility T&D business, Power Generations, Refining, and Petro-Chemical industries. Brent works with clients to ensure proper process, metrics development and turnaround procedures are implemented effectively to drive efficiency. Brent has responsibility for all project staff, successful delivery of Reliability Management’s Implementation Methodology and sustainment of client value derived from service offerings. Brent’s previous work experience has allowed him to gain significant technical knowledge in areas of navigation systems, test systems and software development.

Brent graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University. Brent is an active leader in many organizations in his home state of Minnesota. He is co-author of Linking Process to Results, published in Maintenance Magazine in 2011.
